Educational Programs

We offer educational programs in schools and to community groups. Topics we teach include healthy relationships, STI prevention, partner communication, personal development and hygiene, and family planning and contraceptive use. In 2011 we partnered with the Municipality of Guatemala City to give talks to young people of all ages. In addition, we partnered with Avemilgua, Guatemala's Military Veterans Association, to provide midwifery workshops in underserved, rural areas. We believe that providing educational services is a vital part of our mission-- and a way to ensure longlasting change for Guatemala.
